Then run checkdisk - schedule it to run at next start and then Apply OK your way out then restart.

Then lets refresh the USB Stack
Control Panel - Device Manager - click in the blank area - then VIEW - Show Hidden Devices
Now look everywhere EXCEPT USB Controllers for your device(s) (may not find ANY) and if
you find it RIGHT CLICK and UNINSTALL them all. The Device is your camera.
Control Panel - Device Manager - USB Serial Controllers - RIGHT CLICK on EVERYTHING
and UNINSTALL all except the category itself - REBOOT - this refreshes the driver and the
USB stack
